Carvil was appointed by Excelcare to assist it with its plans to build an 80-room care home.  Carvil provided public affairs and stakeholder engagement services arranging meetings with key local stakeholders as well as a one-day public exhibitions in July 2018.  Development of the scheme remains on-going.

Falmouth Road Group Practice

Carvil was engaged by Oak Narwana to assist it with its plans to redevelop the Falmouth Road Group Practice to bring forward a new GP surgery on the ground and 1st floors together with up to 39 flats above, including 41% on-site affordable housing and public realm improvements to improve access to Dickens Square Park.  In its role as public affairs advisor Carvil arranged a series of meetings with local stakeholders both within Southwark Council, NHS Southwark CCG and the local community both to develop the proposals and to find alternative premises for the existing health centre during con

St Olave’s Nursing Home, Ann Moss Way

Carvil was engaged by Peabody to provide post-submission public affairs to support its planning application to redevelop the former St Olave’s Nursing Home and Ambulance Centre on Ann Moss Way, SE16 to deliver 62 New Homes including 50% affordable housing.  In its role Carvil arranged a public meeting with neighbours affected by the development as well a series of meetings with key local stakeholders both within Southwark Council and the local community.  Planning approval was achieved at a meeting of Southwark’s Planning Committee in February 2020.

35-39 Parkhouse Street

Carvil was appointed by Dolphin Living to assist its plans to bring forward a mixed-sure redevelopment of this warehouse site to provide 100 new homes in a Build to Rent application comprising 35% affordable housing and full reprovision of the 1,300sqm commercial floorspace.  In its role as public affairs and engagement advisor Carvil arranged two two-day public exhibitions and a series of meetings with key stakeholders including the relevant Cabinet members, ward councillors as well community groups such as the Wells Way Triangle TRA, the Friends of Burgess Park, Peachtree and Joseph Homes

94-116 Southwark Park Road

As part of the delivery of the 185 Park Street planning application Carvil was engaged to assist United St Saviour’s Charity (USSC) with its plans to build an almshouse for the 21st century at 94-116 Southwark Park Road that will provide genuinely affordable rented housing to Southwark residents.  In this role Carvil is assisting USSC and Delancey in its negotiations with Southwark Council to acquire the site and deliver a truly innovative affordable housing solution.  Carvil has also provided public affairs and stakeholder engagement services to USSC that to date has involved arranging a t

127-143 Borough High Street

Carvil was engaged by King’s College to assist with its plans to redevelop 127-143 Borough High Street to provide a mixed-use scheme comprising new shops, a hotel and student gym. Carvil led the public affairs and stakeholder engagement programme that led to a planning application being submitted in May 2013 that was approved in February 2014. The site has been occupied by Premier Inn since 2020.

The Music Box, SE1

Carvil was engaged by Sherwood Property Holdings and the London College of Creative Media  - LCCM (www.lccm.org.uk/) to help deliver a redevelopment of Octavia House to provide five storeys of music campus including new performance space for LCCM and eight storeys of residential accommodation comprising 55 units including one storey of on-site affordable housing as well as high quality public realm.
