163-165 Edgware Road

Carvil was appointed by Novaplace Properties to assist with its plans to develop the land at 163-165 Edgware Road to bring forward a mixed-use development containing a hotel, with a public house and co-working space at ground floor. 

Daisy Business Park, 9-35 Sylvan Grove

Carvil was appointed by Joseph Homes, the UK’s first B-Corp social benefit developer, to assist with its plans to bring forward a mixed-use scheme to delivering 668 student beds in a 34-story tower plus 23 affordable family homes in an adjoining seven building, together with the creation of 1,991 sqm of employment space, a new public square and a payment of £20.2 million to fund affordable housing in a scheme designed by TP Bennett.  

Builder Depot site, 14 Blackburn Road

Carvil was appointed by Builder Depot to help it with plans to redevelop its West Hampstead show to bring forward a mixed-use development containing light industrial floorspace, offices and housing. In its role as public affairs advisor arranged a series of consultation meetings with key stakeholders as well as a two-day public exhibition and a development website.  A planning application was submitted in March 2023 which is expected to be determined later this year.

North Street, Guilford

Carvil was appointed by M&G Real Estate to assist with its plans for a mixed-use redevelopment of Guilford’s town centre, revitalising North Street and its surroundings to complement the existing shops there.  In its role, Carvil arranged a series of meetings with meetings with key stakeholder at Guilford Borough Council and the local community as well as arranging a series of stakeholder workshops to introduce its ideas and receive feedback.  Redevelopment plans for North Street remain on-going.

The Triangle, Lyric Square

Carvil was appointed by Romulus Construction to provide public affairs and stakeholder consultation services to assist it with its plans to redevelop 5-17 Hammersmith Grove, Britannia House, 1-11 Glenthorne Road, 3 and 3a Hammersmith Grove and 12-18 Beadon Road to create a new office building with retail, café, restaurant and gallery uses at the ground floor.  Carvil arranged a series of meetings with key stakeholders both at Hammersmith & Fulham Council and the local community to explain the plans as well as a two-day public exhibition to receive feedback from the local community which

Carvil was appointed by Elephant & Castle Projects to provide public affairs and stakeholder consultation services to assist it with its plans to redevelop the shopping parade at 98-104 Rodney Road in a new building containing a hotel on the upper levels and community uses and local shop at the ground and lower levels. Swan Court, 9 Tanner Street & 4-8 White’s Grounds

Carvil was appointed by Nuveen Real Estate on behalf of the Southwark Council Pension Fund to assist it with its plans to refurbish Swan Court and White’s Grounds to improve the quality and flexibility of the office accommodation there including new shops and restaurants and a 35% uplift in the office floorspace.  In its role as public affairs and engagement advisor Carvil arranged a two-day public exhibition and a series of public meetings with key stakeholders including the ward councillors and the Bermondsey Street Residents Association.
