Carvil was appointed by Argon Capital to assist it in its plans to redevelop its sites on Verney Road to create a mixed-use scheme in three buildings providing up to 340 residential units, flexible commercial space, retail and community space and extensive public realm linking into a proposed linear park running along the course of the old Surrey Canal. As well as arranging a series of one-to-one meetings with key stakeholders Carvil arranged a two-day public exhibition in July 2017. A planning application is to be submitted in November of 2017 and following a series of revisions planning approval was obtained from Southwark Council’s planning committee in June 2019.

The site was subsequently sold to British Land who are bringing forward plans to deliver a logistics hub on the site.
