Carvil was engaged by Sherwood Property Holdings and the London College of Creative Media  - LCCM (www.lccm.org.uk/) to help deliver a redevelopment of Octavia House to provide five storeys of music campus including new performance space for LCCM and eight storeys of residential accommodation comprising 55 units including one storey of on-site affordable housing as well as high quality public realm.

Carvil led the public affairs and stakeholder engagement programme and assisted in securing the acquisition of eight garages from Southwark that will be partly built over and then handed back to the Council.  The planning application was submitted in October 2013 and approved in July 2014 including 14 affordable flats and a £1.1 million payment towards Southwark’s fund for building new council homes.

Carvil was also engaged by LCCM in 2019 to assist it with its successful licencing application of its performance space, The Venue.
