Carvil was appointed by EQT Exeter to assist with its plans to redevelop the land at 257-283 Ilderton Road containing industrial floorspace and housing.  In its role as public affairs advisor arranged a series of consultation meetings with key stakeholders as well as a two-day public exhibition and a development website. Given to the market, it was determined that housing was no longer viable and as a result a further phase of consultation was undertaken for a mixed-use scheme containing student housing, self-storage and light industrial workspace/incubator units with face-to-face meetings with key stakeholders and through the development website.  A planning application was submitted in May 2023 which is expected to be determined in Spring 2024.
