Carvil was appointed by Southern Grove to assist it with its plans to redevelop the old Plumbase site at 52-54 new Cross Road  into a 100% affordable housing scheme containing 35 new homes in an eleven storey building.  In its role as public affairs advisor for the scheme Carvil arranged a virtual programme of engagement given the COVID-19 pandemic for both these schemes. A planning application was submitted in June 2021 and planning approval was granted in January 2022. Construction of the site is ongoing that has been acquired by Lewisham Homes.
