Carvil was engaged to provide a stakeholder engagement programme to redevelop a site on Long Lane, SE1 providing 99 residential units (including 39% on-site affordable housing), ground floor commercial space that could provide 60 new jobs and communal gardens. Carvil successfully highlighted the benefits to the area of bringing this site back into economic use recreating the historic street patterns of Borough High Street and achieving a planning approval in February 2014. Construction of the development is complete and is known as the Taper Building.
